Things to do on a Rainy Day

In Seattle it rains a fair share. So when you have cabin fever there isn't much to do.

Claire and I swung by Barnes and Noble for a spontaneous adventure. I knew that had a stage for story time so I figured (if anything) she could crawl on the stage area.

But you guys. They had the stage, they had books (obviously), toys, stuffed animals, a train set, puppets, and lego area! I was like "WHAAA?!" It was super cool and kid friendly!

I kept an eye to make sure she didn't put anything in her mouth, which surprisingly she did very well.

I love to watch her explore. The look in her eyes just gets me every time. So full of wonder.

Oh and I got my first belly laugh out of her. I was tickling her under her chin with a squirrel puppet.

Wish I would have recorded it, but I loved just living the moment.
